Helen Rose Glass

Chelmsford, Essex, United Kingdom

I'm an art teacher and glass artist working in Chelmsford, Essex. My main passion lies in fused glass which I've been creating for over 7 years but more recently I've been exploring other glass techniques too. This includes lampworking and glass casting. I've now taken the plunge and got a lmapwork torch at home to play with too. I have experience with copper foiling and traditional leading. Since Sept 2011 I've been an apprentice at Glass From The Past, Billericay learning more and more about leading and leaded restorations.  In May I'm attending a workshop in Screen printing on glass which will help me to develop my techniques even further.

I am a member of The Guild of Essex Craftsmen and regularly attend their Craft shows in a variety of locations across the county. I also attend many other local craft shows and exhibit at
Glass From The Past, Barleylands Craft Village, Billericay, Essex
Church Street Gallery, Saffron Walden, Essex
Make, Do and Mend, Byron Road, Chelmsford, Essex
A Passion for Fashion, High St, Maldon, Essex
Handmade High Street, Sir Isaacs Walk, Colchester, Essex

"*****" Helen made me a wonderful bespoke necklace and bracelet set for the Vegas Wedding/Harry's Christening. It was really easy, all I had to do was contact Helen, email my picture and then she made a set that compliments the dress and shoes (most important) beautifully. I will post a picture soon.
You can either have it sent... or visit helen for a fitting, ensuring it is (as goldilocks says) just right.
